WATER ACTIVITIES
WATERSPORTS & BOATING
North Captiva offers a wide range of boating and water experiences for the whole family. There are local guided boat rides, dolphin tours, jet skis, paddle boards, kayak rentals and more!
There are also several options to enjoy water sport such as wakeboarding or skiing.
FISHING
There are several charter rides available to go fishing. We also have a dock available at second wind to fish off, or walk down to the beach to spend the day fishing along the shore. Don't worry if you didn't bring your own equipment as there are several places to rent on the island.
SHELLING
Our crystal clear water and sandy beaches provide a perfect place to go shell hunting with the family. It is fun for all ages and can be taken home as a souvenir. Get on your goggles and grab your sifting trays, there are tons of treasures to be found along the coast and in the water!
LAND ACTIVITIES
HIKING
On North Captiva there are no cars, just golf carts. Explore by foot along the amazing trails we have, they are easy enough for all levels of fitness and family friendly. Spend the day exploring and sight seeing all NC has to offer.
WILDLIFE EXPLORATION
North Captiva Island is home to hundreds of native animal and plant life. Send the day watching dolphins and manatees or walk the trails and enjoy bird watching and all the critters we have here.
RELAXING
Kick back and relax! You're on island time, enjoy the ocean breeze, maybe grill out with friends and family. This is your vacation, sit poolside and nap in the sun or enjoy our outdoor bar and lounge.
